  • It’s just not there

    So, I thought I could be a bit of a ghost writer.

    That I could hide my face while I just write about my feelings and make my rants without having to trouble anybody. But obviously, I can’t.

    My heart aches sometimes you know.

    That feeling you have when you can feel your heart beating so hard that you can tell the distortions in the beats without having to place your hand on your chest.

    My thoughts roam and wander off so far that I find it difficult to come back to the place I am at. Sometimes, I just close my eyes and dream of a time where I wouldn’t have to feel the pain anymore.

    “It’s because you care too much”.

    “It’s because you are too emotional.”

    I have heard close friends tell me what they think causes me to stay up at night and think that I am working, when I can’t even finish a website in one evening anymore.

    I feel lost, like I am stuck in an abyss.

    Falling but never reaching the end.

    There’s something I want but I don’t know if I will ever get a hold of it.

  • MTN Glitched or Hacked?

    Although MTN announced to the public in April this year about a compromise in their system, the rewards system glitch this week has not been attributed to any of such activity.

    Earlier this week, a number of people woke up to phone calls from their friends about a glitch in the MTN rewards system.

    The *550# short-code which exists to reward users for their use over the network was gifting out data and voice rewards like Christmas came early.

    TikTok which has become the main social media platform for a lot Ghanaian youth buzzed with the update.

    While the glitch didn’t stay up for very long, screenshots of people claiming hundreds of gigabytes of data and thousands of call minutes surfaced on TikTok, WhatsApp, SnapChat and other platforms as people bragged about how much they were about to drain from the rewards system.

    MTN has not released any public statements yet, but late afternoon, 4th November, 2025, MTN took down the user rewards platform and sent a notice over their MTN app, stating that it would be unavailable.

  • Privacy shouldn’t be a concern if it doesn’t affect me?

    I wouldn’t call myself a privacy expert or say that I am particularly good at hiding stuff, but I would say that I am concerned and cautious as to what people hear about me and from me.

    I don’t believe that I have enemies but thinking I don’t have one is like the most dangerous thing. I have seen and heard about people who were unsuspecting, lose their lives and other stuff cause they didn’t think it was necessary to move with caution even if you are innocent (the public don’t care as long as they can have their two piece).

    WHAT I AM GETTING AT?

    Recently, they installed audio recording security cameras On our school block while we were on vacation as an “anti-cheating” and a “security” measure. I wouldn’t have thought much about it if it was about 9 or 10 months ago and I was new in university but I think a lot of it.

    People boast about being able to break into school systems and I for one have sniffed my own packets on my home network. I can definitely tell you the possible ways that someone could find the network the cameras are on. With that and a little magic, inside jokes that the school could brush off could be used in the long run.

    I seriously think that cameras are enough but recording audio is different stuff.

    We can all brainstorm a bunch of ways to use this for our personal gain. 🤐

    I really hope there are no threat actors thinking like me and a couple of my pals

    I have been asked to describe myself, and I just end up out of thought about what to say.

    My name is Charles Wesley.

    Not the Methodist popular hymnist, but just your semi-average IT student. I am a programmer and a web developer.

    I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Information Technology at the Ghana Communication Technology University in Accra. I am considered a decent student so you could say that.
